Terms of Service — Algorithmics

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Algorithmics Registration System ("the Platform"), operated by Shakaaraah Communications ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who Can Use the Platform

The Platform is used by students, parents/guardians, and authorized staff (teachers, sales, accounts, and administrators) of Algorithmics. Staff accounts are created and managed by an administrator. Student and guardian records are created by authorized staff during the registration process.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
Staff accounts must not be shared between individuals
You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it if it changes

3. Payments

Course fees are charged in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and processed securely through Paystack. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's own terms governing the transaction. All sales are subject to our refund policy, which is available on request.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by your bank, card issuer, or mobile money provider during payment processing.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Attempt to access accounts, courses, or records that do not belong to you
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's security features
Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
Upload or transmit any harmful code or content

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Course Enrollment & Records

Enrollment in a course is confirmed once registration and the applicable fee (or an agreed payment plan) has been processed. Academic and attendance records are maintained by Algorithmics staff and may be shared with a student's guardian where applicable.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend access temporarily for maintenance, upgrades, or security reasons.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Shakaaraah Communications shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or third-party payment processing issues.

8. Data Protection

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
